The Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II
is designed for world travelers.
Launched in 1955, the GMT-Master was designed to display the time in two different time zones simultaneously and was originally developed as a navigation instrument for globetrotting professionals.
24-hour rotatable bezel
In addition to the traditional hour, minute and second hands, the GMT-Master II is also equipped with arrow-shaped hands that circle the dial every 24 hours, and a bidirectional rotatable 24-hour scale bezel.
black dial
Like all professional watches, the GMT-Master II offers excellent legibility in any situation, especially in the dark, thanks to its Chromalight display. The wide hands and hour markers in simple shapes such as triangles, circles, and rectangles are filled with luminous material to emit a long-lasting light.
two time zones
Equipped with traditional hour, minute and seconds hands, a triangular-tipped 24-hour hand and a bi-directional rotatable bezel with a 24-hour scale Cerachrom insert, the GMT-Master II displays the time in two time zones simultaneously: local time as well as reference time, or local time time and alternative time zone. The date at 3 o’clock on the dial is synchronized with local time.
